Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) are transforming the way users interact with software by enabling intelligent and conversational systems. This project, AI Registration Assistant, applies NLP and Machine Learning techniques to understand user queries, answer internship-related questions, and guide students through the registration process. Developed using Python, Streamlit, Scikit-learn, and JSON, the application demonstrates how AI can automate repetitive tasks, improve user experience, and simplify the registration process through an interactive chatbot interface. This project highlights the practical use of AI in educational and internship management systems.

Technologies Used

Python – Core programming language used to develop the application.

Streamlit – Used to build the interactive web-based user interface.

Scikit-learn – Used for Machine Learning, including TF-IDF Vectorizer and Naive Bayes intent classification.

NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) – Used for text preprocessing such as tokenization, stop word removal, and lemmatization.

JSON – Used to store chatbot intents and registration data.

Regular Expressions (Regex) – Used for email validation.

Git & GitHub – Used for version control and project hosting.
