AI Career Guidance Assistant | Data Alcott AI Internship – Task 5

Introduction

Career planning is one of the most important decisions for students, but choosing the right career path can often be confusing. To address this challenge, I developed an AI Career Guidance Assistant as part of Task 5 of the Data Alcott AI & Data Science Internship.

This project is an intelligent chatbot built using Python and Natural Language Processing (NLP) that helps users explore suitable career paths based on their skills, interests, and educational background. It provides personalized career recommendations along with valuable information such as required skills, salary ranges, industry trends, learning resources, interview tips, and top hiring companies.

Challenges Faced

Conclusion

The AI Career Guidance Assistant successfully demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence and NLP can simplify career guidance for students. The chatbot provides personalized recommendations while offering valuable career insights in an interactive and user-friendly way.

This internship project strengthened my practical skills in Python, NLP, recommendation systems, and chatbot development, while giving me hands-on experience in building a real-world AI application.
